What type of Content works?

Updated: Feb 7, 2020

With over 1 Billion Users on Facebook alone, you can imagine how busy newsfeed around the world must be. On both a personal and business level, competition for time in front of your friends or customers is high.

During the past 15 years we have seen Facebook evolve into a strong community platform. As a business, Facebook want to encourage you to have good strong conversations and to build relationships with your friends / customers. In order to do that, they have changed their algorithms to focus on story telling, visual or written (though video does travel further) and have placed less focus on selling.

So how do you get seen?

A good mix of Organic Content and Paid Ads is generally a good combination

Organic Content should focus on high interest points about your business - i.e.: about your business / behind the scenes / what your customers say..

Paid Ads should focus on a clear call to action - Where do you want to lead your customers to? (Website, Funnel etc..)

Post regularly - At least 2-3 times a day.

Engage in other communities - Offer Value, BEFORE selling your services

Please don’t forget: As Consumers we have become so used to Social Media Ads following us around, we often cant distinguish between an Ad and an Organic Post.

Your Content needs to stand out, be authentic and relatable in order to create the trust and credibility around your business.
